Clara Morgane Le Crush App Controlled Love Egg Vibrator

This product comes in cute packaging from the start. It gives luxury item feel, and the seal is a nice touch, so you know that your item is new.
Upon opening it, the vibrator is small and unnasuming, in a nice colour. It's also a nice texture, it feels very siliconey and soft.
Unfortunately, the instructions are absolutely tiny to see, and in french. I appreciate that this is a french made product, but some slightly larger instructions, in English, would be my preference for buying from the English market.
Upon opening, I immediately downloaded the app. The app is relatively discreet, with the icon being a heart, and the name "play toy," so I have no worries about snooping eyes on my phone, which I like.
Again though, unfortunately, upon downloading the app, you have to do setup in french, and figure out the settings, until you can swap over to English. This wasn't a major issue for me, it wasn't particularly difficult, just a bit of a niggle. There were also a couple of parts that remained in french even after I changed the language. Mostly pop up screens. Again, not the end of the world, but made me Google translate!
When using it, I found the controls on the app a little confusing, and difficult to navigate the "take control" section when playing with somebody else. I've found a work-around for this, but I don't believe that that section works for me at all. This means that when my partner takes control of the toy, I'm unable to take control back! This may be offputting for some people. That said, once I'd worked it out, the vibrator puts out some quite powerful vibrations. It's an ergonomic shape, and very discreet, visual - wise.
It is, however, medium-loud. I think that it's reasonable, given the vibration output on max, but may be audible to others around you. If that's not your thing, it can always be used on a lower setting; and that's much quieter. It's definitely something to bear in mind if you want it for discreet play though.
I'm not keen on the location of the charging port; it's located on the insertable part of the vibrator. I feel it could be better located on the other end of the toy, as having a charging port "inside me" gives me mild anxiety, but I will say that I've had no negative effects from it. I also appreciate that it's likely the closest end to the battery, so it's a little unsettling, but so far, no problems.
I struggled with the range a little, but my phone is on the older side, and that might be more of a compatability issue, rather than a toy issue.

The toy is super easy to clean, there are no crevices or awkward to wash points, so that aspect is very easy. I will also give the toy GLOWING praise on the washing front. It accidentally got mixed in with my clothes, and survived a full 20 minute spin cycle in my washing machine at 30° with zero damage. I would rate this toy 10/10 on water resistance!

To summarise; I think that the actual toy itself has excellent potential. It gives a fancy buying experience, the toy is well made, high vibration output, and ergonomic. I think the app lets it down a little, but hopefully with a few updates, in the future, language selection will be the first screen, followed by an easy to use user interface.
There's definitely room for software improvements, but again, my lack of a fancy new phone might be somewhat to blame here.
