Become A Sex Toy Tester

want to be a sex toy tester

Horny friends, do we have news for you.

Want to be a sex toy tester?

Saints and Sinners are on the hunt for people just like you to try out our delicious range of sex toys. So, if you ever thought about what it’s like to become a sex toy tester, then read on.

You can now experience the best sex toys and enjoy out-of-this-world orgasms by becoming a Saints and Sinner sex toy tester. What’s the catch? Absolutely nothing. You’ll be sent a selection of toys to try out and then write about your experience for our Saints and Sinners reviews.

We’re looking for anyone in the UK aged 18 and over who LOVE getting down and dirty and is happy to write about their experiences with testing sex toys. Oh, and we’re not just talking about your run-of-the-mill dildos and vibrators (although we have plenty of those up for grabs). We also need sex lovers to review the likes of lingerie, bondage, lubes, lotions and potions, naughty role-play outfits, and so much more.

Sound good? Then here is everything you need to know.

Can anyone become a sex toy tester?

Hey, as long as you are 18 and older and love experimenting in the bedroom, then that’s all we need to know. If you can tick these points, then reviewing sex toys could be for you:

  • You’re at least 18 years old.
  • You live in the UK.
  • Have written around 5-7 well-written, honest & informative reviews on our website, of things you already own (doesn’t necessarily need to be bought from us) to show us your writing style.
  • You love having sex and having fun in the bedroom (or anywhere else in the house for that matter).
  • You love having orgasms.
  • Even if you have never used a sex toy before, you are keen to give them a try.
  • You’re the adventurous type and are up for trying out something new and – maybe – a little different (we have a LOT of exciting toys and products to try out).
  • You’re good at writing down your experiences in an honest and descriptive way. We’re not looking for “this dildo made me cum,” instead, we want how it made you feel; “the throbbing action of this dildo made my toes curl as it gave me a mind-blowing orgasm in less than a minute!” Phew. Is it getting hot in here?

We hope you have read the points above before applying, so if you’ve made it this far, make sure you enter the secret code word: Orgasm. This helps us find people like you, who are truly interested in becoming sex toy testers.

Sound like something you could do? Then we need you to be a sex toy tester.

Will I get paid for reviewing sex toys?

We don’t pay our testers for reviewing toys, instead, you will be sent sex toys for free and they’ll be yours to keep (and enjoy) forever. A lot of the toys and products we need reviewing can be pretty pricey, so you’ll be saving yourself a lot of money by being a Saints and Sinner tester.

Being a free sex toy reviewer comes with a lot of perks…better orgasms and a more adventurous sex life are just a couple. If you want to add to your toy collection for free, then fill in the form below to get started. You’ll build an enviable collection in no time.

How much time do I have to write my review?

If you can tear yourself away from your toy (we know it might be tough), you will usually have a month to write down your thoughts and experiences.

We feel like a month is a good amount of time to really try out your toy and get to know it…intimately. You’ll have time to figure out any special features, what you like and maybe don’t like about it, and whether you would recommend it to our customers.

We’ll send you a few reminders when it comes close to the deadline for reviewing the item, and if you need any more time then no worries. Just let us know. If you don’t submit your review within the timeframe and without letting us know, then you’ll be placed on our naughty list…you won’t receive a spanking, but unfortunately you won’t be given the opportunity to receive free sex toys again. Sorry.

I’ve never used a sex toy before…is that OK?

Sure is! We love seeing reviews from sex toy virgins as much as we do from experienced players. Why? Because your honest review may well help other customers who are new to the game and might need a little help before they take the plunge.

How expensive are the products I’ll be sent?

If you’re chosen to be a sex toy tester, then the first product you’ll be sent won’t be a super expensive one. If we like what you write then you’ll be sent more expensive toys as your reviews go on.

Unfortunately, we can’t send our very expensive items out on the first try. But the more you review, and the more we like your honest opinions, the more expensive toys will be sent out for you to enjoy. Bottom line – do a great job on your first review and you’ll be rewarded with more expensive and luxurious products as time goes on.

Do you have any tips on how to write a great review?

We’re glad you asked!

The goal of these reviews is to give as much information as possible to people who are considering buying the toys themselves. We’re not looking for a bland sales page. And yes, whether you liked it or didn’t like it is important, but what’s more important is how it made you feel.

The reviews need to give a new level of information on the toy that you won’t see on a product page. By telling our readers the good, the bad, and the dirty, how well it performed, whether you think it’s worth the money, etc, you’ll be helping to paint a picture as well as helping customers make an informed decision about whether or not this product is for them.

Before writing your review, we recommend using your toy a few times (which is why you have a month from receiving your toy until you have to send over your review). Really get to know it and try it out as much as you want.

Can you give me some inspiration for getting started?

Sure. We like to think about how we would sum up a sex toy in three phrases.

Now, don’t look at the product description for this. Instead, talk about your personal experience. That’s what people want to read. It’s what makes it real…and oh-so-tempting.

What do you want potential customers for this product to know? Did it make you cum quickly? Were the functions good? Did the texture turn you on? Don’t worry about describing things that are already available on the packaging or the product page on the website. Customers can find out this information for themselves easily. BUT if you think there is something important to add to the information that’s already available, then go for it!

If the toy is battery or rechargeable, think about things like how loud it is (this could make a difference to someone who might be a little shy and is worried about being heard), or how powerful the vibrations are…were they strong enough? Too strong? You get the idea.

How long should my review be?

Waffling on and on for pages isn’t where it’s at. So, don’t worry. We’re not looking for an epic erotic novel here. Typically, our customers will read a few reviews to make up their minds about whether the item is for them or not. Because of this, lengthy reviews will normally be skimmed over. They want the good stuff. The juicy stuff.

To cater to these skim readers, make sure your pros, cons, and bottom line cover the key points you want to get across.

We normally recommend reviews be between three and five small paragraphs – although we understand if you really love your sex toy you might want to talk about it forever! Just try and keep to the most important points. The points that really sell the toy.

Oh, and when it comes to being explicit, as long as your review isn’t too smutty (think less porno and more realistic, honest language that describes your experience), and doesn’t describe your anatomy too much, then you’re good to go.

Is there a checklist of things I need to include?

When you become a sex toy reviewer for Saints and Sinners, there are a few key points to remember:

  • Make sure you have described your product’s best and worst features.
  • Written about (in detail) what the product does.
  • Talk about your personal experience using the toy. Feel free to be as detailed as you would like.
  • Explained why the product would (or wouldn’t) be right for someone else.

Anything else I need to know?

Just a few teeny points:

  1. Make sure you open a Saints and Sinners account.
  2. If you don’t hear back from us straight away then please be patient. We have a lot of people wanting to be picked for testing sex toys, and sadly we can’t choose everyone.
  3. It’s helpful for us to see 5-7 honest product reviews on the Saints and Sinners website before choosing people to be our sex toy testers. So, if you already have some items that are on our website (doesn’t matter where you bought them from), make sure you leave us a review so we can check it out.
  4. Finally, make sure your postal address is correct – we don’t want the sweet old lady who moved into your old house to receive your sex toys instead…although…maybe she’ll like it.

If you are chosen to be a Saints and Sinners sex toy tester (whoo hoo) then you’ll receive an email from community@saintsandsinners.com so make sure you keep an eye on your inbox (including your spam folder) so you don’t miss the good news.

And that’s all folks. If you have any more questions then check out our handy FAQs below.

Good luck…and happy reviewing.

Saints and Sinners VIP Testing & Reviewing FAQ

Our tester & reviewer scheme is open to anyone and everyone over the age of 18 and lives in the UK! 🥳 You just need to have written 5-7 well written & honest reviews on our website of things you already own (don’t need to be bought from us) to show us your writing style, and you can then be considered for free review products.

We email our reviewers with items that are available for testing and they can decide if they want to test & review the items.

If you’re selected as a reviewer you will receive an email from community@saintsandsinners.com

Usually, you will have 1 month from the dispatch date to write your review. This should give you enough time to use the item a few times, so you can give it a fair & honest review. Sometimes the deadline can be shorter but if this is the case you will be made aware before the item is sent out.

We’ll send you a few reminders when it comes close to the review deadline if a review hasn’t been left, and if you need any more time then no worries. Just let us know. If you don’t submit your review within the timeframe and without letting us know, then you’ll be placed on our naughty list… unfortunately you won’t be given the opportunity to receive free sex toys again. Sorry.

All you need to do is find the product on our website, scroll down to the customer reviews section and you’ll find a ‘Write A Review’ button, click it and let us know what you think of the product.

write a review button

Absolutely not. We need you to be honest and informative, so treat it exactly as if you’d bought it. If you don’t like a product for any reason put it in your review and tell us why you don’t like it. Including the reasons will be far more useful to other people than simply saying ‘not for me’, and one person’s negative could well be someone’s ‘must have’.

To increase your chances of being chosen the main thing you need to do is start writing reviews of things you already own. Don’t worry if you didn’t buy them from Saints and Sinners, if it’s on the site for sale then you can submit a review for it. The usual things to help you get going are condoms and lubricants, and you can submit a review for any item from its product page.

But you also have to be patient. It’s quality over quantity, anyone can rattle off loads of two-line reviews, but we’re looking for something a little more thorough. Most people tend to have written between 5 to 7 good reviews before they’re chosen as a tester.

Be honest, informative and detailed in your reviews. A review with three sentences is unlikely to get you chosen, neither is being overly graphic. Basically, the more you write reviews, the better you get, and the more chance you have of being selected.

No not at all. Reviews from newbies of sex toys are just as important to us as those from experienced ones. Why? Because other customers who are new to the game and perhaps need a little help before they take the plunge could benefit from your honest review.

When you review an item on the website, give it 24-48 hours to appear, if it still isn’t on there then please email us at community@saintsandsinners.com.

As long as you’re not on our naughty list for not reviewing a product, you just need to be patient. Just because you have had products to review before doesn’t guarantee you will always get them. We only have a certain amount of products and we have a lot of people wanting them.

In the meantime, keep enjoying your toys, bondage & lingerie and keep writing good reviews, you will get an email when we have something available for you.
